Calculating, not promising
Seven places where the work disappears, and a calculator in which you fill in your own numbers. Not a promise you have to believe, but a sum you can check.
An inspection rarely takes long because the looking takes long. The time sits in recording, finding things back and writing up. These are the seven places where that work disappears.
Location
On paper an inspector describes where something is: "left side, third panel from the back". Whoever reads that later has to find it again. In PinPoint the inspector taps the spot on the view of the asset, and that is where the pin sits. The next inspector sees right away where the item was and whether it is still there.
What work disappears
The searching at the next round, and the discussion afterwards about which spot exactly was meant.
Questionnaires
A paper form is a compromise: it has to fit every asset, so it carries fields that do not apply today. In PinPoint the questionnaire is attached to the type of inspection. At a finding, only the questions that belong to that finding appear, with the answers already pre-filled where possible.
What work disappears
Skipping fields that do not apply, and deciphering afterwards what should or should not have been filled in.
Working together
A large site or a fleet is rarely checked by one person. On paper that means three piles that get merged afterwards. Here inspectors work in the same round, each on their own device, even without a network. What was recorded offline comes in as soon as there is a connection.
What work disappears
The merging afterwards, and the duplicates and gaps that come with it.
Follow-up
The question "what was still open last time?" is, on paper, a search through old forms. Here every finding has a status that runs from open to to be verified to closed or no problem. What is open is still there the next round, with its full history.
What work disappears
Digging through the previous round beforehand, and the risk that an item silently disappears.
Reporting
At most organisations this is the biggest part. Looking up photos, retyping findings, tidying up the layout, rereading. In PinPoint the report comes from what was already recorded during the inspection: every finding with its photos, the answers, the place on the asset and the status history. You check and send.
What work disappears
The retyping. That is usually not the smallest item, but the largest.
Delivering
Thirteen templates are usable out of the box, and a custom template is layout work because the structure is HTML and CSS and the PDF is rendered by a browser. Sharing can be done as PDF, via the portal, or as data to Excel, CSV or Power BI.
What work disappears
Manually rearranging a fixed structure that only half fits what your client expects.
MCP and AI
PinPoint is built as a data product, with an MCP server. That lets you point your own AI assistant directly at your inspections and ask in plain language what is still open on site 4. The answer comes from your own data instead of from a dashboard someone had to build beforehand.
What work disappears
The waiting for a report that still has to be made, and the building work around it.
Your own numbers
Fill in what applies to you. The result changes right away. Everything stays in your browser: nothing is sent and nothing is stored.
The filling in and recording itself, without the report.
Retyping, looking up photos, layout, rereading.
Minimum 10.
An indication to calculate with. Your actual setup depends on what has to be configured, and that price is fixed before we start.
Marking the location and a questionnaire that shows only what is relevant, instead of a form that has to fit everything.
The report comes from the record. What remains is checking and sending.

What it costs
This is a model, not a measurement
The result is only as good as the numbers you fill in. We do not publish customer figures we cannot substantiate. If you want to run it together with your own numbers, we do that in a conversation.
From the calculation model on this page, not from a measurement at a customer. The gain sits in two parts: the inspection itself goes faster because the location and the questionnaire take over the form-filling, and the report work largely disappears because the report comes from the record. Fill in your own numbers and you see what it would mean for you. All assumptions are open and can be adjusted.
That depends on your number of inspections and on what an hour costs you. The calculator sets your saving against the setup cost and the monthly cost of the core application, and shows the payback time in months. With few inspections per month that takes longer; the model simply calculates it that way.
No. We do not publish customer figures we are not allowed to show or cannot substantiate. What is here is a model with assumptions you can adjust yourself. If you want to run it with your own data, we do that together in a conversation, with your numbers and your rates.
More about how the price is built up is on the offering page: setup, core application and custom work priced separately.
